USBCells are great. They perform as I would expect a rechargable AA battery to perform.
Pros:
-Rechargable
-Charges by USB with no Adapter(Including a USB Wall Charger-like is included with my Palm Pre)
-Charges in a Regular Battery Charger
Cons:
-Expensive
-Slow to Charge via USB
If you are looking for a rechargable batery with the convienence to recharge anywhere, in a USB port on any device or in a standard charger, than this is the thing for you-if youre willing to spend the money.

Im traveling back and forth all the time.
This might be a bit expensive compared to other batteries, but for the convenience of not having to carry your charger is priceless.
I use them for my Bluetooth mouse for my laptop, and they work great.
The charge lasts for months (like regular batteries).
Besides, they make a great gift for a geek friend.
Buy the again: Yes
REcommed: Yes
Pros: no need for charger
Cons: Price and less capacity than other batteries.

Charged fine on my toshiba laptop (dual core); my desktop (gigabyte mb, quad core); my backup desktop (gigabyte mb, dual core) and my junk pc (soyo dragon mb, single core).
I use them to power wireless mice, but like the others, I build my own desktops..
I was surprised at the cost to replace your motherboard, as I have never spent over 120 bucks for a new one, gigabyte, soyo, or msi.
its a cool techie thing which has some purpose. Id buy more!

I was sick of buying batteries to use in my wireless mouse and sick of all the waste it generated. So I bought two sets of these so I could have two charging in my PC while I was using the other two in the mouse. I find that I have to swap them back and forth a little over once a week on average.
But the point is, I bought them two years ago and have been using on a daily basis since then. Only now are they starting to look like they arent holding a charge as well as they used to. Definitely going to order some more.

These batteries are a perfect accessory for the Wii. I already have a computer by my TV, which makes charging easier. Even if you dont have a PC near the TV, though, you can still just get a USB hub (one that has an AC adapter), plug it in, and have the batteries charge by the TV. Get two sets, and you can have one pair in the Wiimote and the other pair in the USB hub, and swap them out whenever the Wiimotes charge gets low.
Ive been using the same two pairs of USBCell batteries for about two years now. Theyre not holding anywhere near the charge they used to, but theyve saved me some money (not having to spend money on AA batteries for the Wiimote for two years will add up) and a lot of hassle (never realizing that Im on my last pair of batteries and will have to go out and buy more). And, hey, theyre probably also better for the environment (fewer batteries used and thrown away).
So, I dont know how they fare for other uses, but in a Wiimote theyre just whats needed.

I got these mainly for my xbox 360 controller and other things around the house. Ive had them for about a year and a half and they are still working very good. The battery life isnt as long as normal batteries but who can complain when you can recharge them time after time. They do take a while to charge completely but i usually just leave them charging when i go out somewhere and they should last me a week or more depending on how much i play. I reccomend these if you have something in your house (like a game controller) that you use regularly. If your just using them to put in a tv remote your probably better off just buying a pack of duracell.

Ive been using these for years. I bought them primarily for my Wii remotes, but I also use them for my wireless mouse and digital camera. I can honestly say I have not bought a single pack of regular AA batteries since. They are definitely worth the price.

I buy these every year as Christmas presents for my friends and family because we all go through batteries in our various devices, and everyone always loves them.
Ive had my USB Cell batteries for about two years now, and they still hold charge, work great, and its nice knowing that when they are expended I can just recharge them. I personally own four of the batteries - one I keep at work for my wireless mouse. The battery usually has to be recharged about once every 3-4 months, depending on how often I use the mouse at work. The other three batteries I use in an Ipod speaker that I use almost daily. I have to recharge those three batteries about once a week, sometimes I can make it go longer if I shut off the speaker myself instead of falling asleep.
As for charge time...once they are fully expended, it usually takes a few hours to charge them, but not sixteen hours. Ive also been charging them in a multitude of devices - a TiVo, my laptops, my desktop computer at work, USB Hubs, and nothing has overheated or broken down. Ive also never had the connectors dislodge from the battery nor have I had any issues with them at all. I hope that they come out with other sizes in the future!
A super A++++ product - my take on it is even if you have to charge them and they dont last as long as regular batteries (which I dont think is the case, at least with my usage), isnt it worth the time and effort if it keeps batteries out of our landfills?

I got two packs of these cells a couple of days after seeing an ad on TV and have been using them for almost 2 years without any problems. Theyre perfect for my digital camera and my Guitar Hero guitar controller.
When Im on holidays, I always take my laptop with me, so I can download my photos on the end of the day and send some of them to my parents and friends. These cells are perfect to use during this period, because I can leave them charging during the night and theyll be full in the morning.
Id say that the bad reviews for this product were written by unlucky people. Also, Id say that the price is quite fair: paying approximately US$ 10 per battery is not that bad if you consider what youre doing for the environment...

They are cool as a gift but probably not worth the money to buy for yourself. Yet.

I give it 3 stars for effort. All in all the recharging cycle is hard to tell if it has reached completion. This is because many computers will effectively shut off the USB port if they do not get a response from it. Almost every time I attempt to recharge the battery light comes on for a few minutes then shuts off.
The batteries upon test are not fully charged. The computerS that I have tried this on just do not like a no-response on the USB port.

Its nice to be able to use any USB to charge, but takes forever to charge them up. Also cant get in AAA size due to size limitation of USB.
