Bought these as a gift for my Mom, and decided to order myself a pair after I saw how well the hinge spring mechanism was designed. Nice and sharp, easy to hold, perfect.

Good product - nice and sharp and works well. A standard cuticle clipper size. Im glad I bought this size instead of the other.

After numerous disappointing experiences with grocery store cuticle nippers, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase these Tweezerman Stainless Cuticle Nippers. They were expensive, but the reviews of this product were positive and convinced me that these were the item I was seeking. I was not disappointed when the nippers arrived. They are extremely sharp, very well constructed, and do an excellent job cutting tough cuticles or hangnails.

However, I do wish I had chosen the smaller nippers. Having read numerous reviews, I chose the 1/2 inch jaw clippers over the 1/4 inch clippers. Several individuals had stated the smaller nippers were just too small to do a good job. I can only think those individuals must have larger hands, for I found the 1/2 inch nippers to be a bit larger than necessary, for me, and would have been more comfortable with the 1/4 inch set. Because the nippers are so sharp, I have to be very careful not to cut more than is necessary. I have nipped myself a few times when first using these Tweezerman nippers and think a shorter blade would have prevented that. Nevertheless, this does not reflect upon the actual utility and quality of the product.

I can, without hesitation, rate these as a five star item. If you are looking for excellent quality manicure instruments, you should definitely consider Tweezerman products.

If you like the smaller jaw size this is great. It looks nice, feels sturdy, moves smoothly and is sharp. Great item, and feels much nicer than the non-stainless plain brand i had before. I was debating if to get the cheaper non-stainless or this and happy i got this one. I recommend it.

Works great, stays sharp and easy to grip. These are the type manicurists tend to use in salons.

The reason Im leaving off 1 star is because since using this cutter, Ive discovered a better one:Tweezerman Stainless Steel Squeeze and Snip Cuticle Nipper/Cuticle Pusher which actually are sharper and easier to use with your non-dominant hand.

The nippers are nice quality.

For some reason, I got the impression that 1/4 size meant
1/4. Not so. That size cutting part is ridiculously small.
Its more like 1/8.

Id like to return for an exchange for the 1/2 size; but alas,
tossed out the package for the nippers and thus cant send back.

The 1/2 size is closer to 1/4.

Be sure which size you want.

You cant go wrong with Tweezerman. These are sharp and handy (and the lifetime sharpening is great).
