I bought 2, one for each camera and 4g SD card combination that I own. Although I havent used them often, they have worked every time and allowed me to transfer the files from my 4g SD cards to my computer through the USB port on the computer. Im not sure where the 9-in-1 configuration comes from but they do what I am asking them to do with my SD cards.

Suitable for people who only mostly use SD, SDHC cards, it doesnt support all diff types. The main reason I like it is its compactness and ease of use(no wires direct USB), portability and at the same time doesnt seem like cheap quality device even though its price is very cheap. Transcend is a decent brand.

Great little card reader and the price was right. We had no way to connect our LG Cosmos to our mac to retrieve photos. There is no software to connect the phone that works with Macs and for some reason, a bluetooth connection wont work either. This is a great solution, works well wit the micro sd card. The shipping was very fast and product works as described, plug and play with our Mac. Great!

Nice little USB 2.0 card reader for the ~$6 price. It works for my SD and SDHC cards. Functioned perfectly. It keeps me from using up the battery on my camera when downloading pictures and its faster than from my camera. I was worried it would be too wide and prevent me from plugging in other USB connectors right next to it or above it on the front of my computer, but it doesnt. Perfect size. The only thing they could have improved from my perspective is making the cap fit on the back end when its inserted into the USB slot so you dont lose it.
Just be careful what seller you buy from. I like to buy from those that I know and have ordered from before. Mine came from Ace Photo Digital.

Cant praise this item enough. I bought this item to move photos back and forth from digital frames, memory cards and my Macbook OSX.4+. Lots of diff formats but worked flawlessly. Not only read the cards but wrote on to them as well. Drag and drop ease of use. Recc using with SD card. Opened up whole new photo possibilities for my Mac at a low, low, price! Awesome.

Im not going to lie...I totally thought this was a scam. for less then 5 bucks I can get a good card reader? I had paid over 40 dollars for my old one, that read all types but is not outdated, and would not read my new small sd card. It REALLY actually works, Im in shock. This is the best value EVER!

works with sdhc. read speed is about 30mb/s. solid built, but the cap isnt too tight, and it is easy to lost the cap. 4 stars because of the cap.

I bought this item mainly as an SD-reader, and I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and simplicity. It works great and, as you can tell from the pictures, is small and sleek as well. It has given me much better transfer speeds than my old digital camera and I think anyone looking for a nice portable reader should pick this one up, especially considering its selling for practically nothing.

I have several readers but not one that would read sdhc cards. This one worked great. The only negative is that there is a cap that I usually misplace. Other drives that I have, the connection retracts, which I prefer. Otherwise, it works great with my 4GB and 8GB sdhc cards.

I was looking for a small, simple card reader that could handle both a standard size card from my camera, as well as the microSD card from my phone (so I dont need to keep track of the sd adapter). This reader looked like a great option, especially given the price. My two issues are:
1) the reader is thick - on my laptop, plugging it into one of my USB ports blocks the port that is below (or above) it.
2) the cap - long ago, I had a USB thumb drive whose cap snapped on the opposite end when it was plugged into the PC. It would have been great if this could do that, just to avoid the possibility of losing the cap. A minor issue.

This little USB/SD Card adapter is extremely versitile and handy. With this, there is no more hooking up your camera to the computer, no more long wires and cords, and no more running the battery down on your camera while downloading your photos. Just insert your SD card and then insert the adapter into the USB port. This device is reliable, works perfect every time and is fast, much faster in fact than downloading from the camera. I showed it to my buddies at work and they now are always borrowing it from me. Cant beat the price for such a affordable, versitile, adapter. Buy a couple for yourself and for your friends. They make great small, thoughtful gifts.

I wanted an inexpensive USB card reader for transferring files to a standard SD card, and this product serves that purpose nicely. Although Ive only used it with an SD card, the device supports multiple kinds of cards. Ive been using it for about a month and so far I have not experienced any problems.

I have a couple of Sabrent and Lexar card readers which stopped working. They will seem to load for a moment and then stops. It will show me the different drives but once I click them it will not open.
This card reader is recognized in a few seconds. It is very handy, very compact and extremely portable.
Windows 7 & Mac compatible. 480 Mbs/s transfer speed. Requires 5V DC from USB port.
It offers a free download of a photo recovery software which I did not try as I do not need it.
Made in China.
