Guess I shouldve read closer as to the height of this volcano, its very small. 7 inches I believe. It was a great price. Dad and son did in an afternoon and it worked well. He loved painting it !

I bought this kit for my volcano-crazy 4 year old. It was easy to put together and he loves it! Weve played with it every day since it has dried. I love that you can re-use the mold and the volcano itself. All this use has started to take off the paint but it leaves the plaster beneath the paint discolored in a way that looks like rock so that isnt a problem. Just add vinegar, baking soda and red food coloring and watch it go!

This kit will make you a nice little volcano. Watch out, though, as the stuff sets up very quickly and if you snooze, you will ruin your volcano! I got this for my 8yr old son and he enjoyed painting it very much and making it erupt...

My son loves his volcano...Just know that it takes about 24 hours before you can have your first eruption, so that you can tell your child in advance. When you do do set it up for an eruption, just know that it wont be that dramatic...it will sort of sputter and spit and foam. But you know what, my kid didnt have the same expectations as I did and he was not disapponted, except that it took 24 hours to use!
