The StarTech USB2PS2 adapter allows you to connect a standard PS/2 keyboard and mouse to a single USB port on your Windows, Mac or Sun computer. The USB2PS2 has a keyboard emulation feature that lets you use key combinations on your PS/2 keyboard to mimic special Mac and Sun keyboard keys - such as volume control and CD eject.

I use this to hook up a PS/2 keyboard (Kinesis Ergo, in case youre wondering) to my PowerMac, by plugging it in to the extra USB port on the Macs keyboard. Everythings working great so far. Both keyboards work at the same time (more a function of USB than this adapter, but its nice to know that it doesnt mess anything up). It has LEDs for the mouse and keyboard to show you whether the connection to them is active, which can help troubleshoot any problems.
