This system includes Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, 900MHz RF wireless transmission and headphones with a 40mm driver for deep bass. RF Wireless Transmission
Radio frequency (RF) transmission works by sending radio frequency signals from the transmitter to the headphones. Radio frequency signals allow high fidelity sound reproduction and have a large reception range that does not require keeping the headphones within line of sight of the transmission. Please note that radio frequency signal quality can deteriorate due to external noise and interference in some settings.
The Sony MDR-RF970RK works on a 900MHz radio frequency transmission with up to 150 feet of transmission range.
Comfortable Design with Great Sound
The MDR-RF970RK features a comfortable fit with an adjustable headband and complete coverage of the ear. Noise reduction technology reduces interference and neodymium magnets give you a high fidelity sound reproduction.
Additional Features
These wireless headphones feature a volume control on the ear piece, so there's no need to get up to alter the volume of your source material. An auto power On/Off saves you energy and prevents the battery from being drained.
Battery
The supplied rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery automatically charges by placing the headphones on the transmitter base station. The headphones charge via electromagnetic induction charging.
