Works as expected. Makes a good charger and data transfer cable for the HTC Droid Incredible. I also use it to charge my Logitech Harmony remote and my Plantronics Bluetooth headset.

Told the seller about it and they asked to see a picture. Thinking that was reasonable, I took and emailed one to them.

Their response was priceless... They told me to zip tie it back together!!!

Im not sure why other people are having any problems with this connector. The cable works as described. The fit is perfect on my Motorla Droid and my Windows 7 OS recognized the device without any problems. The USB charging functions flawlessly as well. Highly recommend!

This cable was totally amazing. Each and every contact contacted the proper contact on PC and phone. The conductors between the contacts were bang on, carrying each and every electron from my PC to my device. I am blown away by the device and would buy 100 of them if I had 100 phones!!! I am also very excited by yet another USB plug format, the micro-B. I think the B stands for Bodacious.

I purchased 2 of these cables. The standard 3 ft. cable that came with my Droid X charger was a little short. I wanted the 6 ft. cable to have extra room when using with my home charger. It works great with home charger and has a very snug fit. I use the other 6 ft. cable at work mostly just for charging my phone from the USB port on my PC.

I got one thats DOA (Motorola Droid / Droid X Micro USB Sync and Charging Cable). I come across this one and to have a higher batting percentage of getting one that works, I ordered three (3) cables. Lucky I guess, they all works. No more plugging and unplugging of charger from the surge protector on the floor. I will place one cable per vehicle. That will provide confidence of ready power on the road, specially using the smartphones GPS.

The cable came on a plain plastic wrapper, the micro-usb snugly slip easily, pliable cable with standard insulation (not thick). Its about 2 yards/ 6 feet.

Its great for what I intend to use it for and thats to charge my Droid X in the car. Its all that I needed for PC linking but more for AC/DC charging, need a the plug-in charger/transformer.

I paired the cable with: (just in case you want to know)

1. Wagan Twin USB and 12V DC Cup Holder Power Adapter
2. OEM Micro USB to Mini USB Adapter (SKN6252) for Verizon Motorola Adventure V750 - my Magellan GPS and another cellphone uses Mini usb. Covered two electronics with one cable.
3. Multicharge Retractable USB Travel Kit for (whatever its for, its for any cellphone)- use for another vehicle, airport, another place or room.

No guarantee all unit will work like mine, so go get one and be happy.

Bought three of these. They have worked great in everything I have tried them in. I did have to trim the plastic around the micro end of the plug a little bit with a razor. It didnt quite fit into the recessed plug in my phone, but after trimming a little its fine, and you cant beat the price.

I use them for my Moto Backflip phones and a WD Essentials external hard drive. They work great and very inexpensive. They have been in use daily for charging my Backflip and the connections are snug.

I have a Samsung Messenger II. To buy this cable at an electronics store would cost $20.00. I read reviews on all the 5 pin USB A to Micro-B Cables offered on your site, and decided on this model. It fits my Messenger perfectly, and my phone now charges quickly while I am on my laptop. I can also plug it into the USB port on my printer, and charge the phone directly from the printer connection. Even with shipping charges, I saved almost 75%, and the quality is top-notch.

I was hoping I could also transfer pics with this cord, but my phone seems to be programed to only use the SD card to transfer data, which is not the fault of the cord itself. Highly recommend. Just make sure your device is 5 pin, not 4 pin.

Ive been using three of these cables on my Droid Incredible. It works for data transfer as well as charging. Despite other reviews to the contrary, Ive had no problems with any of the cables falling apart.
