Description:
Designed exclusively for the Canon Rebel series, the CM-E3-ACC cable enables remote toggling ON/OFF of the camera's prerelease function with the PocketWizard MultiMAX* and new PocketWizard FlexTT5. The new cable plugs into the special sixcontact ACC port of the PocketWizard MultiMAX or the camera port of the new FlexTT5. Simply pressing a Quad-Triggering Zone button on the transmitting MultiMAX activates the pre-release mode on a remote Rebel-series camera equipped with a MultiMAX or FlexTT5 set to the same Channel and Zone. This allows sports photographers to set up a remote camera hours, or even days before an event and activate it just minutes before it is needed. The Rebel's rechargeable battery will last much longer and the entire event will be captured. *This Pre-Release remote function is available with MultiMAX units having version 6.xxx or 7.xxx firmware. How to determine the MulitMAX firmware version: Switch OFF MultiMAX. Hold down Zone button A and switch the power ON. The LCD will indicate the current firmware installed.
