Description:
Ordinary instrument cables can fail prematurely due to stress on the soldering point and poor strain relief. Standard strain relief allows too much movement at critical points, causing premature cable failure. Planet Waves instrument cables have a special polymer molded directly over the soldering points, providing extra protection and unparalleled strain relief. The plugs have a rugged die cast housing with an overmolded polymer that encapsulates the soldering points. The cable is specifically designed to ensure that the exact signal from the instrument is transferred to the amplifier or mixer without loss or alteration. Plus, the cable is double-shielded to reduce interference and each conductor is double-insulated to virtually eliminate triboelectric (handling) noise.
