THIS THING IS FABULOUS!!! My daughter has had a relaxer since she was 5 and shes now 12. Because of the damage the relaxer has done to her hair we decided to go natural. This process has been costly and time consuming....until I ran into a Royale salesman at my local mall. After seeing how he was able to transform her usually coarse thick hair into something so manageable, soft, shiny and smooth!! I HAD TO HAVE IT!!! I got a great deal on it too. I paid $90 and got the iron, a stand up holder and a free bottle of shampoo.... BUT THATS NOT ALL!!! For the next 6 months they will do her hair for free whenever we come in the mall!!! YOU CANT BEAT THAT!!! This product is great for African American hair, no matter how thick!!!I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

I bought this straightner at a kiosk at the mall today. The guy did a demo on my hair. He was surprisingly knowledgeable about hair straightening and all the problems that come along with it.
I paid $150 for this straightner and a free shampoo. I see now I over paid compared to online prices. Anyway, I have very fine, course, frizzy hair with a lot of cowlicks. I was using an expensive Chi straightner and a cheap ConAir (for my bangs). I would have to go over my hair several times. They also stopped getting hot enough after about a year and the ceramic was chipping on both. Just so you know what I am comparing this one to.
Anyway, I love this straightner. I only have to go over each section once and it can do fairly thick sections. It makes my hair smooth and shiny. It stays pretty much the same even when I am in high-humidity.
I dont think the plastic is cheap like the other reviewer said, I think it is just normal, what I would expect out of a straightner. It is also light-weight.
It was well worth the money. The guy explained the warranty. It is a standard manufacturer warranty that covers defects, such as if it breaks or stops working.

The flat iron is actually 1 wide instead of 1 1/2. I am uttered for the poor package. The cheap plastic holder for more than one hunder bucks product? I questioned how the term of 5 year warranty works, still hasnt the answer back. I dont mind deal with your site since it has great reputation, but I dont like deal with manufacture since they all have many so called EXCEPTIONS to really honor their warranty. I tried to find Pro Salon Beauty information, cant locate it from google. I can only communicate with them with email through your site. It calims the product is made in Italy, why no company information or web site link if the products are from a decent size manufacture? Which country are the products made in exactly? I like to know more about Pro Salon Beauty information. Overall, I think the product works as it says, but not up to the price I paid. Definitely need to improve the package, the flat iron looks cheap compare to SEDU product.
