Not too long ago I bought the IDR 600 earphones by scosche whose msrp is at $99 and I found them at your site for $30. At that time I wanted high sound quality earphones that can produce deep bass in particular, and i assumed the more expensize the earphone are the more bass they will deliver. So my objective was to find earphones in the $80 to $100 msrp price range and find great deals on those earphones elsewhere online. Scosche was like the second brand for earphones that I started to do research for because I had puchased some accesories for my ipod from them and found their products to be high quality. So I thought they must make high quality earphones too. I then saw the IDR 600s at $99 and i said these are it I immidiately searched them on your site and found them at $30 and before I knew it I bought them without any hesitatation. Now, those earphones are now somewhere in the landfill all broken up because my door from my room fell on them (dont ask me how that happened). It was now time for me to buy another set, but I fell into temptation and demanded higher quality earphones so I went through the same process on finding deals for earphones and eventually came across the monster turbines which msrp at $179 and as you know their at $102ere at your site. Little did I know I was only buying overpriced earphones and it wasn until I tested them out that they sounded exactly like my scosche IDR600. I even think the IDR 600s deliver more bass without comprimising the highs and mids. So take it from me since ive tested the monster turbines and the scosche IDR 600s, you get all that the turbines have to offer and a little more and best bang for your buck when you buy the IDR 600s. Basically what im saying is the monster turbines sound great. Delivering crisp highs, noticable warm mids, and that powerful trembling bass that we all want that can be felt not just heard, but wouldnt you rather just pay $30 for all of that?

These are the best sounding ear buds I have ever owned. There was only one problem. The buds I received are not the ones I ordered. I ordered the ones with the volume control. When I got the box the actual picture of the ones I ordered were on the box, but when I opened the box the correct buds were not in the box. I think this was a bait and switch by the seller. The buds sounded so good that I just kept them.

I have had the ear speakers for a little more than a week and they are pretty awesome so far. Their sound quality is very crisp and clean, awesome basses. The mids and highs are also awesome. So far I havent had any issues with the construction of them, they seem to be well made and look like they sound, high-end. They are really amazing they make you feel like your in a live concert even at low volumes. I dont know if anyone can make earbuds sound any better than these, but then again I never heard really-really high-end earbuds. I recommend them to anyone that wants great sounding earbuds. I wish the price was a little better, too bad I didnt buy them later because your site had a sale on them for $106 I paid $179 for them. If you get them, enjoy.

These sound great. the only problem I had was when I wear them the big housing touches the edge of my ear. After a period of time it starts to hurt. Im not sure if anyone else has this problem but I do. Not good.

I never have written any product reviews but after experiencing the INCREDIBLE output from these earbuds, it was an absolute must! I bought these to replace a pair of the old Bose in-ear earbuds that shorted out on me. I work in a lab so I needed something that could drown out the overbearing machinery sounds all day without having to jack the volume way up. I also wanted something that was going to fit relatively comfortably and would not fall out easily. Originally I had gone in looking strictly at Bose and Beats (having had overall positive experiences with both. However, after one of the retail guys suggested the Turbines, and reading some reviews on here, I decided to take the risk and buy these instead. Needless to say I was not disappointed! The first thing that really struck me about these buds was the incredible sound clarity that they put out. The first track I listened to was a live in-studio version of Skynyrds Tuesdays Gone. I quite literally felt like I was sitting right in the studio with the band, something that no other sound system Ive owned has been able to do so easily or so well. The second thing I noticed was just how solid the Treble highs, mids and Bass lows are. Listening to Jay-Zs Run This Town and various Linkin Park songs definitely brought this to a head. I was hearing bass lines I had never picked up on before and a renewed richness in the mid to high level notes like never before. The overall comfort and fit does take a bit of getting used to but once you do, you dont even notice theyre in. They come with about 3-4 different sets of eartips which not only makes custom fitting a snap but also allows for some individuality if you prefer different styles of eartip. Also, not having to worry about the cord getting tangled all the way up to below my chin was a DEFINITE improvement over my last pair. Plus, the buds come with a handy shirt clip definitely eliminated any chance of the cord snagging. Lastly, the customer service, just from the prepackaged manuals and information, is second to none! No other earbud company I have encountered has actually given a written set of instructions on how to clean and generally care for your earbuds, Monster does. And buying a set of earbuds that come with a 3-year mfr warranty is AWESOME and definitely something that will keep me coming back to the Monster brand. In closing, If youre in the market for a new set of headphones or in-ear earbuds, DEFINITELY take a good look at these! You will NOT be disappointed!

I own a pair of Shure SE210 earphones. I got a pair of Monster Turbines a few months ago and Ive been comparing them to my Shures. I listen to many different kinds of music: classical, hip-hop, metal, jazz, shoegaze, rock, goth, classic Motown, techno, and whatever category bands like Swans, Nick Cave, Man Man, & Unwound fall into, I dunno--various things.
So about these Turbines: they beat my SE210s in the bass category, no contest--especially if you boost the bass on your music players equalizer. With bass boost in action and a Roots album on my mp3 player, the Turbines felt almost like woofers implanted in my head. My SE210s simply cant produce that much bass.
My Shures beat the Turbines in the midrange category. My SE210s have a nice, richly flat (if that makes any sense) midrange that I missed right away while listening to the Turbines. The Monsters just sound a bit hollow to me sometimes. My Shures never do. Eh, midrange is pretty subjective, so vocals that sound thin & hollow to me might sound fine to other listeners. But as a pianist, I can say there are many piano concertos--and other classical pieces--that sound better through the SE210s than the Turbines.
Fit and comfort: the SE210s fit great in my ears and, with the black foam tips, provide a perfect sound isolating seal. The Turbines have a much worse seal. For starters, they dont come with any foam tips and this baffles me. The only Turbine tips that provide any sound isolation without hurting my ears are the small triple-flanges (the earphones come with 2 sizes of flange tips), and they dont provide nearly as good a seal as my Shures. This kinda defeats the purpose of using earphones: theyre supposed to let me play music at lower volumes, but I have to play many songs at least 20% louder with the Turbines than I do with the Shures. Some songs I have to play 40-50% louder, which is ridiculous. Maybe Ill buy foam tips from another manufacturer (maybe Comply) to use with the Turbines and see if that helps at all.
Also, I have to adjust the right Turbine earphone in my ear a lot, especially after turning my head left or right. I never have this problem with my SE210s. I suspect the problem is a combo of the Turbines weight and lack of a good ear seal. Or maybe something about the design makes my right ear reject the Turbine earphone, who knows.
About the weight: the Turbines are kinda heavy, thanks to their solid metal design. This design makes them sturdy, which is good. But it also makes them a bit heavy in the ear. Took me a while to get used to them, compared to the slim featherweight fit of my SE210s. Apparently my right ear still isnt used to them.
My SE210 cords tangle quite often. The Turbine cords are less prone to tangles: I can usually hold one end and shake everything loose. Thats handy.
Are the Turbines really like having speakers in your ears? No--well, not in my ears anyway, except for the woofer experience. Theyre pretty good for their price range. Then again, the Shure SE210s are discounted now that new SE models are available. Im about to order a pair of Shure SE425 earphones because the Turbines just arent cutting it for me (and I want a step up from my SE210s)--mostly because of the sound isolation and fit issues and my preference for Shures sound quality.

I bought these about 6 months ago and I could not be happier. It sounds like there is a sub woofer in my head. Perfect for laptops that have crap speakers. I love them and I would recommend them to anybody. Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention that I only paid $65.00 for them. I would not pay over $80 for these.

I picked up a pair of these Monster Turbine at your site for $91 a little over a month. They are very well built, good quality all around. The sound quality is very good, very dynamic with very clear mids and highs. They pack some good bass without compromising the clarity of the mids and highs. So far Ive listen to jazz, progressive rock and blues, they sound awesome. I did have to put on the biggest sized rubber tips to achieve the best sound possible. With that said, they are a bit bulky and heavy for earphones. The cord is 3 9 from the tip to the earphones. It reaches my blackberry on my belt just right, not an inch extra. 3 to 6 inches longer wouldve been nice. Ive used them while lifting weights and jogging on the treadmill, however I would not used them for any fast paced activity because they will pop out of your eras because their weight.
The Monster Turbine are excellent headphones and are worth every dollar of the $91 I paid for them. This is the most Ive ever spent on a pair of earphones and Im very satisfied with them.
