great set, smells much better than similar set from crayola, which make it favorites for me. These have less amounts and obviously wont last long; the color palette is also great, although lacks brown (have to mix red and blue for that). My 4 year old enjoys these for our little projects.

I purchased this set for my 4 year old son just for some painting fun. I didnt mind that the containers of paint were small -- I didnt want to purchase larger-sized paint bottles and/or have to mix my own to get the variety of colors contained in this one set. It so happened that my son had a small project for his preschool where we put the paints to good use. We also used it for finger-painting and we still have some paint left over for at least another small project. My son had so much fun with all the colors.

The paint is fine and easily washes off of any surface, including skin. My only word of caution, is if you are like me and didnt pay close attention to the volume in each pot of paint, you will surprised at how small they are. Each one is about the size of a small jar of glitter or a shot glass. Not very useful for toddlers who need 2-3 colors in a large (spill-proof) jar. I planned to pour these into spill-proof jars, but there isnt enough paint to do this. If you have older kids who use a variety of colors and small brushes, this product is quite good.

My grandchildren really enjoy painting. This is one set I purchased. I also purchased Melissa & Dougs Deluxe Poster Paint Bottles to use with the paints. There is no mess.
