If your child likes puzzles these are great. Although these puzzzles have only twelve pieces there are four in the set with individual little bins within the box and pieces are marked on the back with little shapes to indicate which puzzle they belong to. Super great for travel or taking to church or out to eat. Love them.

These puzzles are great. I have a 3 year old daughter who absolutely loves putting them together. I love the convenience of the divided wooden box for storage and the quality is excellent. They are a perfect size to take places/travel with. You dont even need a flat surface since you put them together on the cover of the box. I am a huge Melissa and Doug fan and I highly recommend any of their jigsaw puzzles in a box.

I bought this set as gift for my daughters 2nd birthday. At first, it was somewhat frustrating for her, but the dog and cat are cute enough that she still wants to try it from time to time. After a month, she finally gets it. Now she loves to pour all 48 pieces onto the floor, mix them well, then group 2-3 pieces together, gradually all four puzzles emerge all at once.

This box of puzzles may be small, but it is great for teachers who do not work in classrooms and want something simple but easy to engage in and is easy to carry in bags because it is not heavy. Children will find the puzzles challenging enough and if it is reintroduced to them from time to time they will keep finding it interesting. It is more challenging for children under 3 but when encouraged and guided they will want to challenge themselves and keep working on them. Great buy for therapists!

I purchased this puzzle for my 2 year old and she loved it. She is now 3 and still enjoys it. My 5 year old even likes to put them together and she is used to doing puzzles that are much bigger. I think they like it so much because there are 4 different puzzles and a nifty box with a sliding lid.

I was somewhat taken aback when I received this puzzle. It was MUCH smaller than I had imagined it to be, and the pieces are quite thin. It is a Christmas gift for my three year old daughter, so I havent opened it to look at the other three puzzles, just the one on top. Nothing at all like what I was expecting. A little let down, but hopefully my daughter will enjoy it.

These are nice wood puzzles. My 3-year-old can do them on her own. She likes the box and puts them away in their individual boxes. Very fun.

My daughter loves to do jigsaw puzzles and has no trouble doing puzzles with 25 pieces. These puzzles come in a little wooden box with lid and inside has four separate spots for the four separate puzzles. Each puzzle is stamped on back with a different shape so keeping them separate is a bit easier (at least for the parents). She likes them but I have to separate the puzzle pieces because she just dont have the patience to do so and sometimes when the lid is closed some puzzle pieces will move from one section to another. Overall, its a well made puzzle that should get many years of use (unless you have a dog who loves to chew on wooden things).

This is our second set of M & D puzzles in a box, we also own the farm animals puzzles. We love these puzzles. The puzzle pieces are made out of wood (very durable0; each puzzle piece has a shape on the back, so if the pieces get mixed up easier to sort; the box and lid are made out of wood. We love to take these puzzles on road trips. My daughter is able to do the puzzles on her lap on the lid of the box, nice hard/flat surface. The puzzles fit perfectly on the lid. Great toy would recommend this toy to anyone.
