Being a relatively small person who is constantly cold, this heater definitely does the trick. I initially bought this for my office cubicle at work, but started using it in my bedroom. My room starts getting cold in the fall and my parents are really stingy when it comes to turning on the heat when Im the only one upstairs, so this heater is definitely helpful in keeping me warm on cold nights. It even gets hot at times! An awesome investment.

I purchased two of these items for my tenant. I dont have direct knowledge of how they are performing, but have not had any complaints from my tenant about the condo being cold, so they must be working well.

This is heater is small and compact and does not cost very much. puts out just enough heat for a small bathroom. I turn it on for my shower and lewave it on so the BR is toasty for the wife.

Great heater! I bought it because of the brand name. I had a Holmes InstaFurnace in my office for about 10 year. When it finally quit working, I wanted the same one which isnt made anymore. Not sure if this one will last as long, but so far, it heats better.

Gave this liitle heater to my daughter to use in her room. Puts out pretty decent heat for such a small unit. Like the thermostat function and is fairly quiet also.

Product works great. Read other reviews before purchasing and some said very noisy when running but I do not find that to be true. Price was right and I highly recommend it. I only run it on low heat which is more than adequate for my needs.

Pros:

Comfort control thermostat
Heats up a room like nobodies business
Small compact size
Cooling fan feature which helps cool off room/area during warm season

Cons:
Loud/noisy


Absolutely worth it especially if you have little children or animals running about the home where there is a high probability it will get knocked over. The tip over safety feature really put my mind at ease. Besides that, another huge plus was how much heat it gives off. In order for me to be comfortable, I keep the thermostat on low/medium setting because on high it is suffocatingly hot....


So with the exception of it being rather noisy as it blows out warm air, it is a great buy. Saves on your heating bill because instead of warming up the whole house you can just warm up the room you are in and with thermostat it maintains that temp unlike other heaters without the thermostat control that continually blow air. Very energy efficient!!!!

Highly recommend!!!

I gave it 5 star simply because of the price and features to me are unbeatable. I think I spent like $26 shipping included. It is very very small, so when I got package I did not think it could be a heater. My heatpump went out, so had to get these for this winter at 9 degrees right now!
Pros: Pumps alot of heat for area! With ceiling fan, keeps it even more toasty. Love the safety tipover feature. I suspect it will use less power because when you turn the knob on left, it still pumps out good heat, even on low.
Cons: Makes alittle more noise than those cheap Box Fans, but for the price and my need for heat, I will make do.

I got this to compensate for a roommate that loves to have the pace like an icebox. This little guy is small, effective and surprisingly effective. Effective enough that within about 20 minutes the rooms temperature about 10 degrees, and that was on the low setting. I would recommend this product weather it be for a large or small room area.

we got this to keep my daughters room from getting so freezing cold at night and its been working just fine... set the fan on a med. setting and the heat on low and it keeps the room a comfortable temp. without getting too hot. its not loud at all, about the same as if you were using a box fan or something... good for white noise too if you or whose ever room its in likes that.

I have a very small, 5x8 bathroom in the basement that gets quite chilly during the colder months. Most heaters are simply a little too much for such a tiny space. The problem with small space heater line is that most of them are simply cheap. They get really hot for their size and unfortunately seem to burn out rather prematurely compared to beefier models. This little Holmes unit I bought locally is as good as they come quality wise for money. There was one other unit I saw a little cheaper at the same store. However it was a low, flat model that was designed more as a shelf unit. That model had the control knob on the side which was a pain to get at and operate unless you held the unit still with the other hand. This Holmes model stands upright and has its controls conveniently at the top, where they belong in my opinion. It has two levels of heat and a fan only option. Although just about all of these small models have a high and low setting for heat, the higher one usually being 1500 watts, I neither recommend buying one that carries just the high setting alone, nor do I consider it necessary or economical running any of these small heaters on the high setting for any length of time. They are all capable and safe to operate at that wattage, but the heaters get very hot at that setting, and running it almost exclusively on high is what tends to burn them out prematurely in my opinion. I would suggest anyone buying one of these economy units to run them on the lower settings as much as possible. They may need a little more time to provide the same level of comfort you desire, but they will not get so hot to handle that you cannot pick it up or get that close to it. And it will end up lasting you years longer than running it full throttle. Mine is going on three years old now and still looks and operates like new.

In short, their are only a couple of models in this line that are a couple of dollars cheaper than this unit. Both are made by companies that I have never seen in stores. That is not a condemnation, simply an observation. Holmes heaters are available everywhere, and are probably the oldest company around in the field of small space heaters. I recommend this model for your small heating needs. I think its convenient to operate, safe and durable, and the very best of the economy line of space heaters...

For a small lightweight heater, this one is very impressive. It is compact, fits on the bathroom shelf and does great. I purchased it for a 3/4 bath to take off the chill. It does that in a jiffy. Would highly recommend and purchase again. Holmes does make quality products. I am rarely disappointed with their performance.

I bought this heater 2 years ago. For my laundry room to keep my dog and her 10 puppies warm through the cold winter. Warmed the room within 10 mins and if kept on high it was too DARN HOT! Best thing about this heater if the pups ever knoked it over it shut off. After two years of having this heater it hasnt failed me yet. And it has been thrown knocked over and stomped on by my dogs. Very Harty heater does a great job! Of and my laundry room has a dog door and windows all around so not very insulated. I would run it 6 hours a day every day and didnt even see a change in the pge bill

This heater is not a bad heater if you dont mind the noise. We bought it for our babys room and took it back next day. When the heater goes on it is just too noisy so our baby would wake up. It is cheap, it works but it is awful noisy.

We have 2 of these little heaters this will be the 4th winter weve used them, 1 in the bath room 1 in the living room, they have both work great~! Cant believe weve been able to use them as long as we have.
