Im using this cable to connect my Integra pre-pro to a rack of Carvin amps powering my home theater, and it works very well.
In regards to the complaint that the wires are too thin, that doesnt really matter for carrying a line-level signal. Dont blame the cable because you got careless while moving equipment around and damaged it.
