Head shot locust? Nice! Thing looks awesome on my desk. Was buying all the figures until Gears of War 2 came out, then I stopped because that game was so bad. Great figure though, nice detail.

I do have to say this! This is a MUST HAVE for any die-hard Gears Fan! Since Gears 1, the entire reason I got a 360, I loved gears, thought it was sweet fun enjoyable and gets my adrenaline going! :) Love it! But this isnt about that! This is about this freakin sweet action figure the cog tags alone are worth the 19.99 they weight like 1.5 lbs! The Locust has a freakin boltok pistol, and hammerburst! love it! Definatly will be buying another one in the nearby future! Just so I can collect it WITHOUT opening it this time! Lol

This is an exciting and fun collectible for any gears fan. Especially if you have the COG Soldier sniper with it. Setting up the sniper aiming the locust and his brains blown out.

im a collector and a huge epic games fan! and i love the detail put into the gears figure line, theyre great to show off but for actual play i would question their durability. the graphic detail of the figures make these not for kids under 16.

I am a Gears of War fan and wanted this item for my collection of Gears stuff. You get the COG (Coalition of Governments) tags included with the figure, that is cool, they are real metal. I imagine it works fine, but I left mine in the plastic box it came in and that is where it will remain.

Who-wouldnt want a splodey-head drone?... Especially when it comes with an interchangeable head and real-metal COG Tags.

The toy itself looks great. The detailing is ALMOST as good as a MacFarlane Toys action figure.... almost. However, NECA continues with its tradition of using what could be considered sub-standard materials to make this toy.

When my action figures arrived, I promptly took one of them out of the box CAREFULLY. Much to my chagrin I found my efforts were in vain, as even though I exercised the utmost caution in removing my action figure, in the plastic packaging were little bits of shiny red plastic. Further investigation revealed these to be pieces of the blood-splatter that used to be the drones head. Gingerly carried-out inspection revealed that these were indeed broken pieces and not just random shavings/scraps of plastic. I was disappointed.

The COG tags that come with the figure are, themselves, actually pretty sturdy. However, the chain they come with, and the link-rings they used to attach the tags to said chain are sub-standard. I had to work carefully for about 20 minutes with a pair of pliers to fully close the rings so the tags were in no danger of falling from the chain. Be advised that the linking rings are VERY flimsy and cannot take much stress abuse. IF you choose to wear your COG tag necklace that comes with the figure do so carefully!

Other little things that are nice are the removable Boltok pistol he has in his hip holster. Although, be advised, no matter how loose and wiggly the extra clip that is also contained in the holster appears, it DOES NOT remove. It wiggles like it should but DO NOT attempt to remove it. It will break in your hands. Trust me.

As stated before, the toy LOOKS great. Its a wonderful shelf, mantel or coffee table piece. Do, however, be wary of its flimsy construction. The durability of a MacFarlane toy this DOES NOT have, though it comes close to looking as good as one.

After seeing the figure multiple times on eBay never knowing where to get it, I was finally lucky enough to come across it on your site. Looking at the figure, you should be able to figure out why this wouldnt be a typical shelf figure.
The detail on the 1st series of figures was impressive enough. This just raises the bar on what can be done with a figure. Anybody who has played this game on a regular basis knows how much fun you can have with the sniper rifle. So this figure coming out is just perfect for the sniper fan.
The only thing left now is for them to put out a chainsawed locust.
- oh, wait a minute, looks like its on its way.

The action figure comes with interchangeable heads and is very good quality. The articulation of this action figure far exceeds that of the other Gears of War figures from NECA that Ive purchased in the past. The tags are heavy and are also very well made.

This arrived three days after ordering. The packaging was a little shabby, but the toy arrived in good condition, still perfect in the plastic container. The detail and quality of the piece is very good, and accurate to the game. I was also surprised to see that the figurine came with additional objects not mentioned in the description. There is a non-splattered head for the locust to wear also. The cog tags are durable metal and good length to wear. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase, and it makes a funny and great gift to the avid gears player.

My brother recommended this toy to me to give to my boyfriend for Christmas (he is a HUGE Gears of War fan). So I got it...it came quickly, intact and it was just a very smooth, great purchcase. Although I think I am done shopping for Gears of War toys for a while, I would certainly buy from here again. Thanks for helping make my boyfriend happy at Christmas :)

I mainly bought this for the COG tags, but the headshot locust drone action figure is pretty cool too.

The COG tags are made out of a good solid metal, and theyre on a nice long chain, so theyre not choking your neck or anything. They say, Property of The Coalition of Ordered Governments on them. They seem to be very durable and the chain seems pretty strong in case they get snagged on something.

The action figure is very highly detailed, and the head exploding effect is very nicely done. You can see little bits of brains, and theres even a chunk of the drones face in the splatter. Its quite easy to pop off the splatter head and pop in the normal drone head. The weapon fits nicely into the drones hand.

But the drone isnt all that posable. Its very limited in the terms of movement, and it took me a couple of minutes to get the legs and feet right so he would actually stand on my shelf. Overall the figure is pretty durable, I just wouldnt try forcing the joints too much.

So, for me, I got some very cool COG tags with an action figure, and not the other way around. However, I am defiantly not disappointed with the action figure, its quite cool and looks awesome sitting on my bookshelf.

I bought this product for my son in law for Christmas since he is a huge Gears fan. He was so over come with joy that he hung it on the wall and there it still stands. I am so happy I found this product at your site since it brought alot of joy to my son in law.

Got it for my husband and he absolutely loved it. The details are awesome and both COG tags and action figure are very sturdy. He liked the action figure so much that he keeps telling people what it looks like. Were pretty happy with it. If youre a GOW fan, you gotta buy it. Worth the price!

this action figure is very good. nothing was wrong with it. it was exactly what i expected. its not really a toy, but more of a display of for those hadcore gears fans. what i like the most are the cog tags. they are really authentic, kinda worn torn but still feasible. these cog tags are great to flaunt if your a true gears fan.

I ordered the locust drone and it exceeded my expectations. First of all the detail on the figure was amazing and it was also well articulated. NECA did a great job of incorporating both. Secondly, it came with metal COG tags. A must for a GOW fan...

Only drawback was that the pistol holster came loose, but it can be stuck back together...just didnt get around to doing it as yet.

Overall a great product at a great price!
