I am one who hates to shave and with the cost of Gillette blades getting so expensive, I purchased a Norelco top of the line elect. razor and found after two years of training my beard to grow the way Norelco wanted it, I never did get as close a shave as with a Gillette blade, and the cutting head for the Norelco cost $35.00 so not sure if I was saving any money? Now after reading a few reviews about the Emjoi ROTOSHAVE and the price on your site, I ordered one and it arrived today and I had a two day beard so I followed the instructions to the letter and it was so easy to use and I swear I think its the best and closest shave I have ever had, in my 75 years. Get one if you hate to shave as much as I do, now I can hardly wait until tomorrow, to shave again and see if I love it as much as I do today, its almost fun to shave.

The RotoShaver isnt as bad some reviews say although it is far from a perfect shave. The reason I tried this shaver honestly was because of the cheaper replacement blade cost. It isnt a remarkably close shave, but it doesnt leave a burning feeling that some electric razors leave, mostly because you use cream and water. One unexpected downside is that there is no recommended period of time to replace the blades.

I have really thick facial hair w/sensitive skin, this doesnt pull hair, gives a very close shave (same or better than my mach3)...only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it takes longer than normal shaving, however the experience makes up for that

The item came in nice and neat with all parts as described. I played the CD that came in the box and followed the instructions to the letter. Easy to use and charge. However, this particular unit most likely had a short in it as it kept slowing down to a stop and I would shake it and it would come back on...and it would work for a bit and then die again. But when it did work with a full charge it did give you a nice clean shave after about the first week when your whiskers came back adjusted to the roto blades. I think its unfair to review this unit at this time as it had a mechanical problem. I would like to try another unit that kept its charged each and every morning that I would use it. Then I would give it a better review.

This electric wet razor gives me a far better shave that any electric shaver Ive owned. Its a 60-90 second task, and works as advertized. No razor burn or irritation. I use edge gel and it works great.

Four stars instead of five since there is no side-burn trimmer capability... that would have made it the perfect razor. Also the replacement blades dont seem to be avalable at your site. The replacement baldes seem a bit pricey, but I havent determined the replacement time duration as yet. So far so good.

This is my first product review and I did not buy this product from your site. It was a gift.

I was very skeptical and did not like my first experience with the product, it felt weird and I was afraid of all those whirling blades. I was terrified that I was going to seriously cut myself. I let it sit in my cabinet for weeks and even tried to return it, but too late. After awhile, I decide to really give it a chance. I ignored the sound and the funny sensation. I tried to use it as I would my normal blade razor... why because it has blades. So I figured straight strokes would work well. Wrong.

Despite the rotating blades... this device works best when you move it around like a rotary razor. Ignore the blades and the funny sensations... It took me about 5 days to really figure it out after I became confident I was not going to cut myself. Now I can shave faster than with a blade and much closer. Once I learned how to angle it for the best cut the redness disappeared.

This device works great but only in the hands of a confident experienced user. Newbies need to be patient, acquire confidence, and give it a week or two to learn a whole new way of shaving. It will pay off. I love this device now.

Ive been using this shaver for about a week now and I am always left with a clean shave with no irritation. I do recommend not pressing it against your face (remember, its still a razor).

I highly recommend this product.
