Reasonably priced and works exactly as intended for calibrating the tachometer on our Cummins diesel boat engine. Set up and use are both quick and simple and the display is legible even for my old eyes. Memory function allows the operator to pause and record each saved measurement. This is an important tool for enhancing diesel boat engine life.

I got this photo tach to measure the speed of the motor on my lawn tractor and other things too. It works very simply and has a very nice case included. A quality item for sure. I will and have recomended this item to all of my tractor hobbiest friends.

For the price you cant beat this tach. The range specified is a little underestimated. It actually gives good measurements up to about 6 feet. I have used it to set timing and find the rpms of a fan so far and it has given approximately the same reading every time. I am very glad I bought this product. It is a little bigger than it looks in the picture, so if you are going to be using it in a tight space you may want to find a smaller one. This one is about 5 inches long and 2-1/2 inches wide.
