Description:
Often it is necessary to run cable through electrically noisy environments. Fluorescent lights, motors, computers, and a myriad of other electronic devices used in offices, homes, commercial, and industrial environments generate massive amounts of EM and RF interference that manifests in signal as audible hums or fuzzy video. Quad shield RG-6/U cable provides an added defense against interference for the purest signal possible.

Fluorescent lights, motors, computers, and a myriad of other electronic devices used in offices, homes, commercial, and industrial environments generate massive amounts of EM and RF interference that manifests in signal as audible hums or fuzzy video. Quad shield RG-6/U cable provides an added defense against interference for the purest signal possible. A copper-clad steel 18 AWG center conductor makes this cable ideally suited for antenna, cable television, and satellite television applications where a strong cable is needed to guard against the elements. This cable may also be used to make high performance, custom length composite and component video cables, as well as RCA audio patch cables. A 60% coverage aluminum braid over 125% overlapped Mylar foil plus a second 40% aluminum braid over 125% overlapped Mylar foil provides greater shielding than standard RG-6/U. UL listed and CMR rated for use within walls.
