The heart note is composed of thyme, basil and sage, followed by a very masculine base note of fig wood, teak, vetiver and musk.

I am an elderly man and have tried many colognes over the years. In fact I still have several choices to use now. However, I always return to this one because it has a mild pleasant quality, a bit fruity perhaps, but not overwhelming. Some colognes hit you (or people youre around) as being very strong scented with earthy or musty character. Im not crazy about those.

I happened to smell it at a friends apartment and asked Whats that fantastic scent? When he told me, he was very reluctant to give away his secret, and I could tell. Its light, airy, citrus-like, but with a hint of a light musk essence, and its noticeable and lasts most of the day. I usually wear it with casual Friday evening happy hour with friends, going out for a night on the town, and for dress up occasions. Its not too strong, but very subtle and agreeable. Youll be getting compliments all the time. An overall great scent that wont be played out because its not sold at Target or Wal-Mart or something where everybody and their grandpa can get it and wear it until its just cliche. Packaging came on time, bottle was in perfect shape, got my invoice in the packaging, I was charged appropriately and I got exactly what I ordered.

If you are looking for a fresh young masculine aroma, this is NOT the choice you should make, as the name of the perfumes states, this is a masculine scent, but more focused on a more mature, settled in kind of man.
Im on my late twenties and this perfume reminds me of my fathers perfumes. I like it, but not a huge fan, I have wrapped it up, and put it away till my granfathers birthday.
