If I purchased based on some of these reviews I probably would not buy, however, I purchased these last year and they are great. Very comfortable to hold and much better than the completely plastic ones are. Yes the top cap DID pop off a couple of times, but I pushed it back on (not even using glue) and had no further problem. I personally feel that the problem lies not so much with the stylus, but the user. I am an adult and my daughter is older now so I do know about parenting. If she abused her electronics the way many of the children I observe (at most public places and social events), she would not have had any games left at all. In the long run youll have to make the decision and I recommend them.
