I bought this to use with Dolphin, a Wii/Gamecube emulator. And yes, I own all of the software that I use with the emulator, its just that playing on the PC you get a MUCH better picture than playing on the Wii. Mario Galaxy and Kirbys Epic Yarn are amazing to behold in hi-def.
The first time I plugged in the dongle it wasnt recognized. Unplugged, re-plugged it and it was recognized and Windows 7 installed the drivers. Paired my Wiimote up by going to the Control Panel and adding a device. Ran Dolphin and BADABING, Im playing Wii games on my PC using a real Wiimote. Good stuff.
If youre using this dongle in the same fashion I am, I highly recommend it.

When I plugged this in, it recognized it instantly and didnt even need a driver installed. IIt connected all my bluetooth devices without difficulty and even recognized my wii controllers. Definetly a must have for folks out there with a computer without built-in bluetooth!

This product is OK. Plug & play on Window 7 Ultimate. But use is limited. I tried with cell phone and mouse; it worked with mouse but kept dropping phone calls. Have not tested with other blue tooth devices. Did not even bother, not worth the time and effort.

A working Bluetooth nubbin for something like two bucks is quite a deal.
As soon as I got it, I plugged it into my Acer laptop. Unfortunately, it crashed the Linux Bluetooth driver consistently. I set it aside, figuring I was out the price of a cheap hamburger.
This morning I upgraded my laptop to Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat) and, while watching the messages log, plugged in the Bluetooth adapter. Result: Absolutely no problems. It just works.

This works pretty well if you remember a two things...
1) Size is small, range is small too....few feet. I used it to tether my BB to my laptop on vacation. Had to have it close enough to me that I may as well just use the USB cable (faster data transfer and will charge phone). It did serve its purpose somewhat, though.
2) Doesnt like linux....couldnt get my machine with linux to even recognize it.

Shipped fast, was here in about 3 days. New in packaging, VERY small, functional, VERY cheap, software is ok, and range could be better. On the packaging it said itd work up to 100 meters (300 something feet) it works only about 30 feet. I think its a great buy for the price, works as I thought it would. FYI, If you have an existing bluetooth software or manager installed you may have to uninstall it if you want to use the included software.

This bluetooth adapter works great. Ive had it for 3 months. Its given me the capability of connecting wireless devices to my computer, where I had to use cable before. Its so compact, you hardly even notice it plug into the computer. I definitely recommend this item if you do not currently have a bluetooth computer. I purchased it as part of a package for an additional $2.96 when I ordered my Jabra BT5020 headset. Well worth the extra 3 bucks.

Considering how inexpensive the product is, I was suprised it works at all. However, I decided to write a review becuase the seller has great customer service. I recieved one of these adapters in the mail, and it was broken. I put in a support ticket, and they shipped me a new one that works. Great customer service, and a very inexpensive price tag makes this worthy of a decent review.

I purchased this device and didnt have too much trouble installing the software on my PC with Windows XP. However, it was tricky to get the bluetooth headset (Motorola MOTOROKR S305)to connect. After connection, it worked well. I have experience this a few times when using.
Next purchase -- I purchased one for my son and attempting to install on his laptop (Windows Vista). This has been a pain and I still have not got it to work yet. I have not had a lot of time to work with it though. But definitely harder than my first PC I connected one to. I blame this on Vista. Definitely not a big Vista fan. Hope the latest version of Windows is more like XP, or better.
Overall, for the price it is hard to complain. Once working, it is pretty awesome.

I had doubts initially because the price was so low. When you insert the USB receiver in a Windows XP OS a Bluetooth symbol appears in the taskbar. From there you should be able to add any Bluetooth device to it. It even detected my neighbors HP printer. I should have sent her a message for fun. Not!!

I bought the USB dongle despite the reviews given too it. Boy, were those 1 star reviews ever wrong!!!! I received the package in about 3 days not expecting much but i was wrong. Worked like a charm to connect my bluetooth devices to my x64 Windows 7 HP laptop. No need for the installation disc because it found the drivers for me upon plugging it in. I would say get this bluetooth USB connector over the other ones just because it is really cheap and it works!!!

Just connect it to my new laptop. windows 7 recognize it and install drivers. No need for external drivers or software. You do have to activate the bluetooth interface in control panel! I have it working perfectly fine with my connectland bluetooth mouse and a toshiba satellite a665.

Hi, I have brought this USB dongle a few months backs. I have gotten it to work, but only in xp. I have tried in two different vista 32 bit computers but it just wont pick up anything. It installs fine, but wont pick up my devices. However, when I go to do it on xp, it works perfectly. So probably just a vista thing. Probably work better in windows 7.
