FM radio function failed, very disappointed because i loved taking my clip to the gym to listen to the tv stations on the FM tuner! It did work great for the better part of a year, but ill be looking for something a little more reliable for the FM function. If you dont care about that, id say get it--great sound.

I bought a Sansa Clip for my brother as part of a gift a while back and he was caught in an unexpected rain storm while jogging. The pouring rain reduced the Clip to a brick rendering it completely dead. I bought a new one for him eventually, and I also bought this protective skin at a later date. Once again he got caught in a total downpour while jogging but this time the Clip survived! I wont say it makes the Clip waterproof, but it sure helps. The silicone skin doesnt interfere with the controls either. I will be shopping around for a portable weather station for my brother if this continues!

This case is made to cover the older clip (not plus) which didnt have a micro SD slot.
I bought this to cover my Clip PLUS (2GB with 16GB card... the device and memory cost just under $60 to get 18GB total, same price as a 8GB Clip+)
If youve ever experienced uncontrolled SD card ejection, you know the card really flies. Then once you find where it went, when you reinsert it you have to wait a couple minutes for the media to refresh. This cover solves that problem, the card is completely covered!
This case allows all the clip plus features to be accessed. Even though the wheel is square on the device and round on the cover, it works just fine. The material is raised with the corresponding button graphics on the front, however the power button does not have any feature indicating where it is (not an issue for me).
The microphone on the back of the Clip Plus is open.
The only downside is the cover makes the clip stand up a little. I think I will resolve this by cutting a slot across the back where the case has a raised rib of material. This is the only thing that I feel is not backwards compatible.
Love the ribs on the back!

This item comes with no brand name (just in a wireless accessories plastics bag), no users manual (so pretty much you have figure out how to put it on your sansa clip), but it fits on the player very well and I recommend all owners get one of these.

First of all, the product isnt as translucent as the stock picture suggests and is very solidly black and opaque. Light from the Clip however does barely manage to penetrate it. Secondly, I bought this to cover my red Sansa Clip that I found a great deal on. After seeing the actual product, I decided to mod the skin by cutting out the circle that covers the radial dial in order to have an aesthetic red and black pattern rather than a solidly black skin. The end result looked pretty nice (even professional though youll have to be very careful and smooth in cutting) and the skin (which is about 2 millimeters thick) provides for a sort of protection against the buttons being pushed accidentally (if you somehow forget to lock the Sansa Clip). I couldnt imagine why the company that made this skin didnt cut out the circular part of its products: it would save costs on the material that is cut out and makes the Sansa Clip look much more personalized and pleasing. Mine has a red clip on the back, a black body (from the skin), and a red dial with nice blue light around it. Pretty cool if you asked me.

This skin fits my 1GB Sansa Clip perfectly, and does a great job of protecting it from scratches and slight dings. I was also able to punch a couple of small holes in the top of it, and attach a lanyard so I could wear it around my neck. The skin is sturdy enough that this works very well -- and there is absolutely no sign that it might tear (make sure the holes are perfectly round and spaced about 1/8 apart if you plan to try this (I used a small leather punch like this one: http://www.your site/Leather-Hole-Punch-Tool-Heavy/dp/B000NK5VY2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1276649574&sr=8-2)).
One quick tip... The toughest part was figuring out how to get the skin onto the Clip. Heres what I found works:
1. Put the Sansa Clip face-down on a table, desk, or other solid, stable surface, with the top facing you (you may want to put a mouse pad, towel, etc. under it to keep from scratching it).
2. Use your index fingers (both hands) to hold the bottom end of the Sansa Clip still; and place your thumbs on the part of the belt clip that is closest to you.
3. Gently push down & forward with your thumbs (more forward than down), to remove the belt clip.
4. Put the bottom end of the Sansa Clip into the long opening on the side edge of the skin, and gently pull the skin around until its lined up properly.
5. Place the Sansa Clip face-down with the BOTTOM end facing you, and re-install the belt clip.
Sorry for the long, drawn-out instructions for a simple thing; but I figure that somebody out there might benefit from it.

Keeps your tiny Sansa Clip from a premature death. It was priced right and installed easily once the clip was removed. No complaints here.

The cover is solid, and provides extra protection from dropping your player. It does not cover the screen, so it leaves the screen easier to see, but it only protects the screen from scratches by making it more recessed.
The cover blocks the uSD slot (I have the Sansa Clip+), so if you have to swap cards a lot, youll want to cut a small slit over uSD slot.
There is no blister or raised label over the power button, so youll just have to remember where the power button is. But, since you dont have to press very accurately, and its the only button on the top of the player, it hasnt caused me any problems.
The players clip is largely unhindered by the case, and one could make the argument that the silicone will grip things better than the regular plastic of the players exterior. However, the thickness of the case reduces the range the clip can open. The clip will still grab onto backpack straps, jean pockets, or a couple layers of clothing without any problems.
I wish the molding was a little more precise/uniform, but the inaccuracy doesnt result in a less functional cover.
I have 8-10 charges (~50-75 hours) on my player since installing the cover, and it shows no signs of weakness/hardening/cracking.

This is a great skin for the Sansa Clip Mp3 player. I like the fact its well made, and gives your Clip great protection in the case of a fall or drop. The case is not slippery and gives you a firm grip on your Clip. If you have a Clip+ get another case because this one is made for the Clip. Its easy to fit the Clip through the side hole, but you have to do some work to get the Clip+ in there. Another drawback is the color of silicone. Another reviewer said that this case collects lint. They were right. It collects lint if you carry your Clip in your pocket or put it there to work out. Overall its a great case.

Love the cover for my Sansa Clip. I ruined a Sansa Clip from too much sweat during workouts, so this is a lifesaver for my new Clip!

I think of this cover case as a pajamas for my Sansa Clip. It slips on easily, wont fall off, makes the Clip easier to grab and use, and protects it a little from the rain. It has holes so you can still plug in your headphones or USB cable, and if anything it makes the button controls softer and more usable. My only qualm is that the microphone is covered up by rubber, so Ill probably have to pop the head of the case off in order to record anything.

This is a great protection for my Sandisk Sana Clip. I have two Sana clips and I purchased one for each. It doesnt interfere with operation of the controls.

I got this for my son (7) when I ordered his Sansa Clip for Christmas. Its just a silicone sleeve that goes over his player, but at least it gives it one more layer of shock absorbing protection as well as scratch protection. Thats it - not much to it.

Price of .01 + shipping was a no brainer.

Dont expect this case to protect your Clip from a serious drop, but it will absorb some force and should protect it from moderate drops onto not-so-solid surfaces (say a wooden floor, but perhaps not a concrete floor). Nothing is blocked as there are cutouts on the sides, while the play/next/prev/etc. buttons are covered by the case but their function is not impeded.

This case was extremely inexpensive and paid for itself the first week when I dropped the Clip with no damage. The only issues are that it blocked the microphone (I used a hole punch to cut an opening) and that there are no directions as to how to get it around the Clip (I removed the clip, slid the Clip through the side opening, and reattached the clip).

Cover fits snug and does give it cushion if you bang it around. No problem pushing buttons through the cover.
