I ordered this belt not so much for use with doing dips(which i will no doubt use for that too im sure) but mainly to use with a seated calf machine. Heres the idea: I bought a used seated calf machine for $95 bucks and needed a way to do standing and donkey calf raises without buying ridiculously expensive machines and using up space in my basement. I just take the knee pad attachment off the machine, put on the dip belt and connect the caribiner clip i got from HD to an eye bolt i mounted on the main beam on the machine and voila! instant all-in-one calf developement machine for around $120 all-in, that works as good as any dedicated standing machine i have ever used. The belt seems strong enough to handle any weight i can throw at it after several workouts with it. As for the chain being too short for super heavy dips, i dunno i took mine off completely and just use a big 3/8 stainless caribiner clip for my purposes. But if you needed a longer chain just go to HD, chain is dirt cheap!

This belt is good quality and works well outside of the fact that the chain they have attached to it doesnt allow you to add very much weight to your dips / pull-ups, etc. I felt that was a pretty big oversight considering that is the whole point of the product. Im planning on going to the hardware store and fixing this myself, which should be pretty easy but it shouldnt be necessary.

Very satisfied with this product. The only issue that I have with it is that I can not adjust the fit around my waist. This ability would be nice but is not a deal breaker.

This dip belt is perfect! Ive used it for dips and chin-ups with a 45LB weight attached to it. No tearing and no swinging action occured. Ive had it for over a month now and wouldnt trade it for a leather one with a chain.Altus Athletic Nylon Dip Belt

The S hook on this doesnt go through a standard 1 inch hole. I have some weights with a kind of slit in the hole, so I can just get the S hook through.

45 is the max you can put on it. But if you use a dumb bell you can easily put over 70.

I use this for dips and pull-ups. It works great.

This is a great product. The only problem is 45 pounds would probably be the maximum you can load on it. Very easy to use.

This is a solid piece of equipment with no bells and whistles to wear down and break. If you need a Dip or Chinup belt I recommend this one. Five Stars

At first I was skepticle about this belt. But then I loaded on a 50 pound db, and was surprised to see how sturdy this belt was. It can easily handle 70 lbs too...Great belt at an even better price!!!!

First off, everything everyone said is true BUT if youre serious about lifting, you can probably add more than 70-75lbs to your dips and/or pullups. At my gym, I couldnt add anything more than two 35lb plates to it because the chain was too short. I couldnt max out on my dips but its still a good belt, I just wish the chain was about 4-5 inches longer.

Sits comfortably above hips, and stays put during the set. I havent used more than 45 lbs. with it, and havent done pull-ups with it yet, but for dips its really good - easy to get on and off - and you can leave the plates attached to it if you take it off between sets.

I just purchased this, and have been using it for dips and chins. Its just as comfortable and sturdy as the more expensive belts, i.e., Schiek, etc. Highly recommended.

Product works great for dips and pull-ups. Very durable, have had 75lbs on it with no issues, although I have had it less than a week so time will tell.

Dont waste money on leather belts or more expensive dip belts when this one will do the same job at half the price.
