I have a Prius with a back up buzzer...but you hear it inside the car not outside. Not very bright wouldnt you say? Enter the Back-up Warning Alarm. Now when people are behind me when I back up the alarm scares the wizz out of them but they do get out of the way.

Wanted a back-up audible alarm for my Jaguar XKR - this device is self-powered, needs NO wiring, and is innocuous (wife thought it was a tracer!). Used light energy to power an audio oscillator and amplifier, top generate a Beep! Beep! Beep! sound as long as the backup light is on. Mount with double-face tape over the revwerse lamp lend, on the outside - not app[arentluy affected by car wash, curved mountuing surface, or (so far) bright sunlight. A cheap and easy solution to my defined problem.
