This phone is really cute, my son loves it... hes 2 1/2... I do however wish it were a little louder and that the phone part was actually connected by something other than string, maybe a real chord that could let the phone part like a real phone where kids can hear something out of it! :)

My almost two year old son overall loves this toy, but almost cries with frustration when the phone disconnects from the toy. The string that attaches the phone to the toy always disconnects. Its very annoying to have to constantly re-attach it. Im thinking super glue...

It was my sons first phone given to him on his first birthday. He is now 3 and still plays with it. Its been really not taken care of and stepped on and even slided down the stairs a few time, but it still works. Sturdy toy!

I just bought this for my 15 month old son and he loves it. He dragged it all around the house by the phone and it seems very durable. The buttons say numbers and the name of the train on the button. You can also push the Thomas face for music and there are two other buttons on the top. The three buttons on the bottom are learning games for older kids. The phone cord has a safety release so the baby cant choke... it snaps right back together if they pull it apart. Overall hes having lots of fun and spending a lot of time with this toy. [...]

I purchased this for my soon to be 3 year old granddaughter. She loves it! It has activities for the very young to early school age. As a teacher, I like the types of learning the child can choose from (left, right, above, below etc.). Her older sister (almost 5) has mastered many of the activities and enjoys it a lot. Little brother (9 mos.) likes pressing the buttons and hearing and seeing the lights and sounds. Although I think there are way too many plastic speaking toys on the market, this is one I would purchase again.

My kids, now ages 5 and 3, have loved this toy since we got it over a year ago. It teaches numbers, and positions (above, below, next to) and has a follow the lights memory game. The voices and tones are surprisingly pleasing to grownups, and there are two volume settings. It has survived falling to the tile floor numerous times. Highly recommended, especially for Thomas enthusiasts.
