I recently bought this system for my computer and i like it. the sound is great, it looks good and i recommend it. Its not as loud as i thought it would be, but for a college student like myself, its loud enough for my apartment without disturbing the neighbors.
I actually like it a lot more than i thought i would, at first, and for the price i think its just right

I bought these for my office. They are too small if you want big sound in a living room or something. For the office or bedroom they work great though!

Creative Labs I-Trigue 3330 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System with NeoTitanium Driver Technology

Sound is good, easy to hook up, looks cool, just not shielded which i suppose i could have figured out by looking at them. Not shielded means that my cell phone sets them to buzzing and popping and since i use them on my work computer i get a lot of buzzing and popping. They dont seem to like my dryer much either.

I have had the same problem as many with this product, namely the jump volume knob. Frustrated with the lack of even a make shift solution on the internet I took matters into my own hands. This is a partial solution (as completely fixing it would likely require taking it apart and replacing parts, soldering, etc.) and it might not work for everyone.

Heres what I did...
I cut a small piece of paper a little over 1 inch long and about 1.5 cm wide. I folded it vertically and, using tweezers, wedged it into the space between the dial knob and the surrounding grey plastic. I posted a picture here - [...]

It increases the friction between the knob and the plastic and since Ive done it I havent had the random volume jumps. Hope it works! If it does, spread the word because I know a lot of people have this issue.

I was amazed at how good these speakers sounded when I first plugged them in. Once set up correctly sound seems to come from space in front of me rather than from the speakers. I listen to them 8 or 10 hours a day and continue to be impressed. Plenty of volume, and very clear sound.

However, I have the same problem several other people have reported. The volume goes up and down drastically and randomly. It seems connected to when I get my hand near the volume control, and since I since I need to do that to adjust the volume it can be maddening.

I finally settled on just finding a reasonable setting on the volume control then leaving it alone and adjusting volume on the computer. Not the solution wanted, but it works.

Is an excellent product. Best choice for listening to your iPod or Iphone or any MP3 player. Sound quality is excellent and the loudness will surprise you.

I just purchased this system to supplement my new iMac. I needed something that was small but with good sound balance. I visited my local Best Buy and listened to the system they had. I was surprised that most the 2.1 systems sounded fairly good but I am not a hardcore audiophile. I was recommended this particular model from the Apple forum. For only $53 and your sites great return policy it was worth the gamble. I am very pleased with the sound with iTunes; a great balance of all the sound fields. The subwoofer is pretty powerful and I have it set below the mid point. This unit is powered by AC and has a wired remote that controls: on/off, bass and volume. I live in a small studio and the maximum volume is actually too loud. Volume set just above half fills my apartment no problem. Aesthetically these speakers look great, as a bonus they actually match the color of my new iMac. I am deducting one star because to use as gaming speakers more time adjusting settings is required. I bought these mostly for music but do play World of Warcraft. The settings I used for music did not translate well for WoW. I had to make adjustments both in game and on the remote. Games seem to amplify the lows a lot more. However, once the adjustments are made it sounded well, the downside is you will have to adjust the remote each time you go from music to gaming. Output seems good for videos as well but I only watch podcast and movie trailers so I cannot comment on watching a complete movie. In the end, I would highly recommend this system for someone with a limited budget who is looking for a system for music and light gaming.

This was an emergency buy(my old box crashed). I was surprised when I hooked it up. The sound was really great... for a little box... far better
than I had before. I guess it is due to the neo-Titanium Technology. I am still not sure what that is... but it works!! I like the corded remote.
One thing... watch the volume, or you will blow the sub.

I played with a lot of speakers at the electronics store without even looking at the price. When I found these had the features and sound I was looking for I hesitated but looked for the price tag anyway. I was so elated to find these were the cheapest in the whole display and I wish I would have ordered on your site since they seem to be even cheaper right now. Great, clear sound for my itunes listening pleasure =)

These speakers win my mvp for price class $100 and under. Ive had many brands in this category from altec lansing to phillips and i have to say these are the best quality yet to date. from base to sheer bonechilling accuracy on vocals a steal for the price.

I rarely do reviews. But thought my review may help someone know what situation I have with these speakers. The speakers are great! Great price, good sound, and looks cool. There is only one small problem. The volume sometimes goes up and down by itself sometimes. I think its due to the wired remote control. It gets annoying sometimes. My last speakers were Altec Lansing which never had the problem good until the sounds diminished in quality due to old age. Thats the only negative about these Creative speakers. /everything is great except volume goes up and down by itself sometimes.

I received these speakers yesterday..., they are very nice looking and they sound very good, I have an apple iMac and I guess is the perfect speakers for it, I put them in a large living room and after setting them up correctly had a nice output. Sound just a litle unclear when volume is at the top, but very good for the price!!!.

Ive owned a number of Creative speakers in the past, and generally like their products. Unfortunately, theres no getting past the specs: The subwoofers have 5 3/4 drivers, and thats just not enough to deliver bass that sounds like its coming from subwoofers, even in a smallish office. Moreover, the bass sounds dont mix well with the two satellites speakers: Rather than a sonic blend of lows, mids, and highs, you feel like youre listening to two separate systems, with the highs and mid-highs sounding somewhat distinct from the other frequencies.

I wasnt looking for audiophile perfection, not at this low price, and they probably beat most non-subwoofer systems costing $25-$35 dollars. However, were I to do it over again (I donated these, by the way, because of the sound quality), Id spend more money for a larger subwoofer speaker. You might want to check out the reviews at CNET for 2.1 speaker systems that fit your sound needs and budget.

The system is ligher than some others in the line, and the subwoofer has a nice look to it. Those stoplight satellites are a matter of personal taste. I didnt like them at first, but eventually got used to them.

One more thing. The whole speaker system powers on with a circular on/off device that plugs into the subwoofer via a cable. Should that cable connector break (as it did with another Creative system I had), you can no longer turn on the system (i.e., its broken). Just use reasonable caution so that the cable stays put.

After much research I decided to buy these speakers primarily for my laptop. For the price range, these do the job well. Sound is clear, crisp with plenty of bass. Speakers have a aesthetically pleasing appearance in addition.

4 start because the size of the sub woofer box couldve been made smaller and some high ranges turn into noise if your raise the volume too much.
