The Coby Digital Stereo Isolation Earphones (CV-E91) with Volume Control for MP3, CD, MD and other portable players. The comfortable, lightweight in-ear plugs reduce outside noise for a better listening experience. Included are two sizes of soft-rubber ear-plugs to ensure a perfect fit. Enjoy the high-performance super bass sound along with the convenient in-line volume control.

Earbuds, which are also known as in-ear headphones, are commonly issued as freebie phones with portable players, but higher-performance buds can offer sonics that rival full-size models. Their tiny earpieces rest on the outer ear or need to be inserted into the ear canal, and some models include ear clips for a more secure fit. This type of headphone is ultra compact and lightweight, and can often provide moderate to excellent passive isolation from external noise%u2014no battery required. The small size makes them not only extremely portable, but also the best option for those who wear earrings, hats, or long hairstyles. Sound quality and bass response often not comparable to those of full-size models, though for use with lossy formats used on most MP3 players, earbuds are usually more than adequate. However, they can cause discomfort over periods of extended use, and some models are difficult to insert and remove, especially for those to whom the idea of putting foreign objects in the ear is counter intuitive and uncomfortable.

These headphones are alright. The volume control on the headphone cord will come in handy for some people.

The bass is.. idk. I found the sound quality to be ok, but beyond that nothing impressive. I would recommend the CV-E92 headphones Colby offers any day.

They do fine on the noise canceling aspect, but the sound quality is a bit muffled and really just sub par. Theyre fine of you arent really into hearing every nuance of a song.

In my experience all headphones are created equal because no matter if I buy the $20 or $2 ones they all last about 3 or 4 months before one of the earbuds stop producing sound. This is very annoying and painful if youre a train/bus commuter....its hurts to not be able to block out these environments.

Anyway, these earbuds rival your average $20 earbuds easily. It has great sound quality, you can hear the nuances in the background of songs...that beat you never picked up on (if your song has one of those). And the flexi-soft thin rubber that gose in your ear doesnt hurt liks some other earbuds. You dont have to constantly push it in your ear to get a good fit...it stays where you put it. Great Quality, Price & Comfort...just buy it!

The head phones are good but not great, Ive only had my head phones for about 4 mo/ and the left speaker is about to blow out. It might be b/c I listen to my music to loud or something might have been wrong with them when purchase; but Iv never had this happin with other head phones Ive purchased in the past.

These are great earphones! My ears must be small, and I cannot usually fit earphones in comfortably for long periods of time, but these are comfortable and have good sound.
They were also incredibly inexpensive.

Thus is my 5th set if these earbuds. Ive given 2 sets away to friends/relatives, and keep an extra set for my drive time. Theyre comfortable, have a great sound quality and the in-line volume control is a nice bonus feature. Sound quality is great. Only drawback is losing the plastic ear piece. Luckily, each time Ive lost an ear cap, Ive been able to find, but it does make replacement necessary. Keep them in a pouch or bag, and dont lose the caps. Although their inexpensive enough to replace, I recommend buying 2 pairs at the same time for later use.

For a $1 or so less the other Cobys are better. You can use these to run because the separate volume control thing bounces around and pulls the headphones out of your ear over time. The other Cobys are perfect for running. You can use these for walking and theyll probably be fine. I prefer the sound of the other Cobys as well. This didnt really increase the bass at all so dont buy them for that. If you want a quick volume control these work better than trying to control the volume using the MP3 player you have. That is the only thing I really liked. Ill use the earpieces but other than that wont be using these much.

And it paid off.

A year ago I bought a pair of cheap Coby earphones and they were dead on arrival, just after a few weeks ago I decided to give Coby a second chance (due to my budget restrictions) and these headphones worked out of the box, the bass is deep as advertised but has medium quality, the treble and the rest of the sound is above average.

For almost $5 these headphones are worth it. But if you have the budget to get something better and if you dont mind paying a hard drive, video game or mp3 player price for just a couple of earphones then get something else.

For the cost of these headphones (set me back about $6), they are definitely worth it. Even though the quality isnt anything out of the ordinary, the comfortable fit makes up for that. In the past Ive had trouble with some of the designs of in-ear headphones as one side would be weighed down by the cord and be pulled out of the ear. This design is fine, its comfortable and does not slip out at all. For the price, I would highly recommend it.

This is a very good headphone. Sounds as good if not better than the I-pod headphones. Volume control is especially convenient as I do not have to reach into my pocket to change volumes while listening to music

It is white in color which is cool considering that goes with I-Pod. The sound is great for the price I paid. you got to set your I-pod Eq to small speakers to appreciate your music. The noice isolation is definitely not there unless you really jam into your ears like going to ER to get it out. Definitely I would not this try it at home. The volume control is good though I dont remember when I used this function last.

These earphones have great bass tones. The rubber earpieces are comfortable and shut out outside sound making my music clearer.

I used to have Altec Lansing UHP336 earphones which were no doubt one of the most amazing things I had owned but they broke in an accident and then I had no money to buy something that expensive again. So I bought the cheap Coby CV-E91. They were much better than the amount I paid for them. I could not believe that I could still hear the faint beats that were possible though my altec lansing. They come with two different size of ear buds the large ones gave good sound isolation and the bass was also good. The external sound adjustment also was a usefully addition.

Overall a good deal for the price.

I bought this pair of headphones as a replacement for my apple earbuds for my iPod. The headphones are comfortable but lack the sound quality of the earbuds.

First Ill say I got a great deal on mine. So I wasnt too upset that the maximum volume wasnt very high at all or that the buds kept falling out of my ears. I only used this when I worked out so Im sure they would be fine if you used them for something other than an active hobby.
