its a g-shock. you probably will lose your arm before this watch breaks. analog dial g-shock looks cool. the minute hand moves 1/3 minute every 20 seconds. it has power management features, if you put it away for a while the display turns off, the hands stop. when you pick it up or push a button it wakes up and the hands reset to the correct time. fun to watch. starts conversations with guys who like g-shock watches.

my only complaints:
backlight is bright enough to light up the illuminated hands a little but its nearly impossible to see the lcd display using the backlight in the dark.

face is small for todays fashion trends.

stopwatch is basic, hard to see, not a primary feature

i bought this watch because the band from my old on burst, this watch is really nice and sweet, excellent charging, and atomic time keeping is great the only draw back is the back light, it only covers from 9 to 3 straight across, but i guess the reason for the normal illumination light is because of the solar pannel on the watch itself..that why i give it a 55 star

This is a decent watch, its got Atomic Timekeeping (in the US) and it is also solar powered, so you can pretty much buy it and not have to set the time ever, all you do is wear it! It also has a cool party trick in that the watch illuminates when you move your arm to look at the time - but only when the watch senses that the ambient light is not good enough, in sunlight and good indoor lighting the watch illumination does not come on, pretty neat! The only bad thing about this watch is that the digital readout is rather small and not too practical. This keeps the watch from getting a 5 star rating from me.

I love this watch. The recessed crystal protects it from getting all scratched up and the atomic time keeping function is great. I had a model almost identical to this for years and had no problems with it until I lost it so I had to replace it with the closest thing I could find. Great value on your site.

I love this watch, its solar-powered which means it doesnt need replacing of batteries, its shock proof which means its durable. Very good watch for its price.

My review is going to sound like an advertizement so I will begin by saying I have no connection with Casio other than having owned several of their watches over the years.

I switched to Casio watches about 20 years ago when other watches would fail by the rough treatment I gave them in work and sports. Casio G-Shock watches took the abuse and would run until I decided to take advantage of a new model with new features I wanted. The Ana-Digi Solar is for my use the best watch I have ever owned. I can read the analog time without my glasses, the watch is self-setting to the exact time and the battery stays charged just by wearing the watch, just dont let a shirt sleeve cover the sensor for an extended time (several days).

I did find the watch difficult to adjust; trying to follow the instructions, I accidentaly took it out of adjustment, but a call to Casio Customer Service and the technition quickly give me instructions for correcting the settings for perfect functioning.

This watch is, to me amazing, as I watch the hands automatically spin to daylight savings time or a new time zone and stop at the exact time.

This is a watch one can set and have perfect time keeping for years without any futher attention. What is there left to improve in wrist watches design? I cannot imagine.

I was in the market for an every day beater. Saw this watch at the company I work for at a cost of $[...]. liked its features and thought it looked alright. fits well on my 7 wrist and its light enough to not really notice. the illumination is lame on the dials, but its got two led lights. I like it. and for [...] bucks shipped Id buy it again.

One of the best watch I ever had. It might look a little big but its not that heavy at all. you get stop watch and even alarm clock with it. The band is very comfortable and seems durable.
In short I love my new watch...

This is a great entry-level atomic/solar watch that is made to withstand a lot of punishment. The watch is pretty self-sufficient once set correctly it will update itself nightly. Wonderfully priced and it shipped from your site immediately. Things to consider...1)the hands are a bit small and take some getting use to but should not be a deterrent. 2)The back light is just that...a back light. Its a nice blue color that highlights the dial allowing you to view the contrasting hands. It does not illuminate the digital displays. 3)You have to set your home time, then the hands for the watch to function correctly. The manual makes it sound like you simply set the digital portion and boom, but this is not the case. You set the home time, advance the hands to match the home time...then boom. Once set...your done. The atomic time will update everything, even the hands during DST! 4)Its big which is good and bad. Good that it looks big and tough, but bad when you try to button a shirt or wear a sweater. I dont mind, but someone may.

The instruction say that you have to keep it near a window every night to receive a signal, but Ive worn the watch to bed under a pillow and it still found the Ft. Collins tower. Oh yea..5)It only receives one signal from Ft. Collins, Co. You really dont need the other towers/signals unless youre an international man of mystery and hopping the globe.

Id recommend this watch for someone geared towards the Analog look while wanting some digital functions and durability.

Cheers,

This is the best product I have purchased yet at your site. Am very happy with the watch. Read all the reviews from other users and decided to buy it last week. Cant tell you how much I am loving it already. Shipping was on time and the watch is par excellence!! You cant beat the price on your site. You will never need to buy another watch again nor worry about changing the time or changing the battery + 2 year warranty.. al for under $60. Believe me this is really the gift that keeps on giving!!!!

The watch was exactly as described. The photo does the watch and injustice. Its a very nice looking watch with a nice weight to it. It feels like the quality watch I expect it to be. Reading the manual is a must. The watch is not one of those guess to set the time watches. With everything this watch can do, you MUST read the manual to learn everything that this little watch is capable of. With that said, I expect this watch to have many adventures starting with Afghanistan in July. I actually got the watch for my brother who is a Sea Bee in the Navy and needed something reliable while he is gone. Yes,I did play with the watch before I gave it to him to make sure it met my standards. Its on his wrist now, so it passed the test. Do not be afraid of not having enough light to keep it charged. It did just fine on the shelf and just fine with me with minimal light for days.
Again, it wont quit when he needs it most. Would I recommend the watch? You bet I would.

I purchased this watch for my boyfriend and he loves it. He wanted this watch because the face doesnt scratch. Since he is a mechanic, that was very important to him.

This watch is great. It automatically adjust itself you always have the right time. your siten had a steal of a deal, considering other retailer sale it for $125-150. I really like the stopwatch feature. The light is very helpful and doesnt shine too bright, making it great to use anywhere and not look too obvious. Its a great watch for the price.

I purchased this watch and I have been very pleased, the features from the atomic time that sets the digital and hands is very impressive. You just have to find the right spot in the house to leave it at night for it to automatically adjust. The automatic lighting feature works great and the idea of not buying batteries with the solar is great. I found only one store here local with the watch and they wanted $149.99 but I ordered it from your site for such a price difference and have been very pleased.

The most fully automated watch I have ever seen. Automatically adjusts the time based upon the radio signal from the atomic clock in Colorado. Automatically charges the battery from ambient light using a built in solar cell. Automatically turns on the back-light when you rotate the watch with your wrist to look at it (in low light situations). It even has a recessed crystal to protect against scratches. It is also comfortable, light weight, and cool looking to boot.

This is one watch that should be hard to break...as someone who is adverse to spending $ for watches that break after a few months useage, this one will be fun to test. It is a step up on the price ladder for me, but so far is providing added value to compensate for the extra $. It is attractive but not flashy, has a neat, intelligent night light, the lens is well protected from scrapes and scratches and it is unimpeachably accurate. I learned long ago that cost has little to do with longevity or accuracy in a wrist watch and have been favorably impressed with cheap Casios. (One of their calculator watches I had - with tons of buttons - survived a 150 ft SCUBA dive by several weeks.) My only reservation so far is where do I find a replacement watch band when this one breaks (as the plastic ones inevitably do - this watch band is practically integral to the watch design).

I recently purchased this item thru your site for $57 where the same exact watch in Walmart was $98. For starters, I love the look of the watch, some reviews claimed it was busy, but i think its great. It doesnt have the mickey mouse look of alot of digital watches, plus its a G shock, so its a tough watch. The atomic reception is great too as I live in Miami and am as far from Colorado as you can probably get in the continental US and still, not by the window just laying on my dresser, the watch picks up signal. The backlight on it is really nice too and the fact that its solar powered is great. Speaking of which, ive left the watch in my room for a week, windows closed, and the indicator always reads hi for charge life. The only thing that kept me from giving this the full 5 stars is the fact that, i guess in an effort to save battery life, since it is rechargeable, the alarm only sounds for 9 seconds! So if you are a deep sleeper or sleep in a noisy environment, dont count on this thing to wake you up! Im rather disappointed about that as I like to travel and often rely on my watch when staying in hotels, so this might be a problem. But other than that, it looks great and its functions work great!

This is the second casio ive owned in the past 10 years. This watch looks great and has the features that I need, It works very easy and the atomic setting is the best.
Theres only one con- the hour hand is hard to see at night because it is red, other than that all pros for this casio.

I just got my casio in the mail and it was easy to set up all u have to do is read the manual and u will set this watch up quickly. The only problem I have with this watch is that i should of got it sooner then later. The price is way cheaper then Walmart. I will always look on your site to purchase items be I go any where eles. Keep up the good work your site...
