I bought this watch for two reasons: the dressy look, first and foremost, and the digital functionalities as secondary (stopwatch, day/date, world time). It meets my first requirement and Im pleased with that. But it fails miserably in meeting the second requirement. The digital functions are non-readable unless you have it under the sun. Somehow it requires multiple lighting sources from different angles to be legible. Office lighting produces reflection on the crystal glass, which is very durable and scratch resistant (a big plus). The reflection on the crystal makes it harder to read the digital readout if you only have one source of lighting such as a desk lamp. Tilting the watch cuts the reflection considerably but also reduces the amount of light required to reflect off the digital readout. In an office environment you can still read the digital readout but you almost have to hunt for it due to reflection and the lack of contrast of the gray-digits-on-black face. The backlight is so dim it doesnt help when trying to read the digital readout. The backlight is basically useless unless its in complete darkness. I gave it three stars because of its handsome dressy look and the black face accentuates the look, as well. To a by-stander, the digital readout sort of disappears into the black face, which is kind of neat now that Ive become accustomed to its feature.

Good looking, both analog and digital, but the digital part is quite difficult to read. The clasp is nice as well, although the bracelet doesnt fold on itself, so it always holds a circular shape even when its sitting on the table.

Pretty good all around.

Im very happy with this watch. I looked a long time for a digital-analog watch that looked good and was readable and attractive, and this Casio was the best I found in this price range. I dont think the thermometer is very accurate, but I dont mind as I didnt buy the watch for this feature. Also, the timer is hard to see when the analog hands are pointing down--they tend to block the readout at certain times of day. But this is a common issue with digital-analog watches: usually the hands block part of the digital display at different points. But for me, this is a minor issue that is outweighed by the positive qualities of the time piece. The readability, look and feel of the watch are excellent. I love it. Great design and function. Great product.

In a day and age where watches are fashion accessories this is a good watch. While I have a couple of Swiss Watches, including a T-Touch and a Longines, this is a stylish cheap watch that does not look out of place in a suit as well as casual wear. Not the easiest watch to work in terms of the buttons and a super small manual makes learning how to use it a bit tricky. Its smaller than I expected which is not a bad thing. But overall at the price who can complain. Its fun.

I fall in love this watch in first look. This is very nice in look and design. Only problem is that, Digital Display is not easily readable in day light. Casio has to think for improvement in this display. Feature wise this watch is very good as compare to price. I am sure you will be satisfied with this watch.

I love this watch. It looks fantastic with casual or business wear and is durable. Ive worn it in professional venues, for casual and weekend wear, on vacation to England and Spain, and taken it backpacking in the backcountry of Southern Utah. Its feature-laden and does pretty much anything you could ask a watch to do. Its made of good quality materials and despite all Ive put it through it still looks great. Granted Ive put some scrapes and scratches on the band and face but they are minimal and hardly show. And I might add that it took some pretty serious abuse to put them there.
I have only two complaints about this watch. First is that the springs holding the band to the watch itself could be a little heavier-duty. I managed to bend one so the band became loose. I would suspect that for most people this will never happen but if you put it through a lot of abuse it could. Its an easy and inexpensive fix if you do it but I would have hoped for better band-springs on an $80 watch.
The second complaint is that the thermometer is pointless--the watch has a thermometer but your body heat will always throw the measurements off so you have to take the watch off and let it sit for 30 minutes to get an accurate reading. To my way of thinking that makes it a waste of weight and volume on the watch. But whatever, the other features and quality of the watch more than make up for its issues. Id certainly recommend this watch to anyone looking for a classy and functional timepiece that wont completely drain the checking account.

Ive had many watches from analog and digital and out of all of them this is the only one that gets compliments. The main question from everybody is how much does it cost?

The whole thing seems to be made out of metal. The watch bracelet did need to be adjusted by a jewelry shop since the bracelet is not user customizable unlike other casio metal band watches. The buttons are a bit stiff at first but after breaking them in they soften up.
Like many casio digital watches this thing is loaded with features such as a stop watch with a separate lap time recorder, timer, temperature function, alarm, world time and a mode to separately adjust the analog hands. Yes the digital time and analog time have to be adjusted separately. The analog adjustments are a bit time consuming and are adjusted electronically by pressing and holding a button that rotates the hands, the downside is that it takes forever and if you accidentally pass the time you tried to set you cannot move backwards and have to start over.
The temperature function is interesting but doesnt work in the real world, what I am trying to say is even though the watch can accurately measure temperature, it can only do so while not being worn. While being worn, your own body temperature affects the watches measurements and therefore gives out inaccurate measurements.
The built in light is good in dark conditions but it doesnt light up long enough, only 1.5 seconds. I sometimes have to press the light twice since holding it does not make it last longer but its not a big deal.
I personally like that it has a stop watch and timer function as it turns this elegant timepiece into a sport/fitness watch. My favorite is the timer function as I use it to time my rest between sets while weight training, and the stopwatch for running, swimming, and biking. You dont have to take this watch off for swimming as it is water proof.

This watch doesnt really have any real flaws. Maybe if it had additional features like atomic timekeeping and solar power it would be better but lets face it, it only cost fifty-one dollars and some change. It has incredible looks and features for the price.

I like and dislike the watch. It is very heavy on the wrist, and rides up and down all day, rubbing my arm and pulling hair out (w/ metal band). It feels tighter in summer. The latch system seems overcomplicated. The face looks cheaper when you get up close to it. Setting it is rather byzantine - press one button six times to reset the time! There are many features, which somehow amuse me even when I dont need them - like the thermometer. The alarm - which is easily set or un-set by accidental bumps - is nice. At midnight it goes off in doubled rings, for some reason. The booklet, mostly in multiple languages, is not great. Wish the leather band version was a similar price. Probably wont get it again.

A very good watch. The only issue I have is that the hands of the watch get the way of the temperature read out.

This is a gift for my younger brother. When I received the watch, the packaging is really lousy; luckily the watch wasnt damaged. It is an ok watch, to me it is too complicated and hard to tell the time. But my brother likes it. This is the main point.

This is an excellent watch that looks great. The watch is solid with some weight to it but not too heavy. I purchased it because I needed a watch with a timer. The only complaint I have with the watch is the display cannot be seen under the analog hands so I have hard time seeing the remaining time on the timer.

Theres not much I can add to what others have already mentioned. I own several Casio watches - mainly G-Shock and this was a departure for me. I was hesitant to purchase it because I need something durable and stylist. This seem to fill most of what I needed - style, durable, stainless steel band. I prefer steel band over plastic or cloth b/c of durability and abuse. As mentioned, the digital numbers are sometime difficult to read. The temperature reading and accuracy is questionable. Quality and price seem good for what it is. I use it mainly for work or going out. I still use my Casio G-Shock for around the house activities or for places that require a stronger watch or something that dont break so easily.

Overall good stylist quality watch from Casio.

I wanted a watch which has both the digital and analog interfaces and still looks presentable. And this watch fits in perfectly.

The really good things about this watch that i like :

1. Nice sturdy watch. ( i have hit it here and there a few times now and its still in one piece.) I have even hit directly on the glass but no scratches yet so that shows the good build quality.

2.Really nice set of features. The world clock is particularly useful and there are a bunch of others which I havent used yet.

3. Metal Strap. I have been using it daily for about 6 months now and it has a pretty good shine to it.

One of the drawback is its not that easy to learn How to set it up. I actually have to refer to the manual each( but since you dont have to set it up that often so i guess you can live with that). Also the manual that comes with the watch is really uncomfortable to read. I had to download a pdf version of it to be at ease with it.

But overall, I would say its a good watch with a nice price tag.( i paid about 50 bucks for it)

Ive always been a fan of gadget watches. Well this one takes the cake. I get more complements about this watch then any other one Ive had. I took it to the jeweler to size it and his first words were, Man, thats an interesting watch.
You will really like the temperature gauge once you calibrate it for the temperature of your body. You can always just take it off and wait a few minutes for the temperature of the room, but I like instant temp. Took about a month to finally get the temperature correct using the temperature change feature.
The other feature I use often is the world time. It has the time for everywhere in the world. Once you set up the watch, its just click the button and go. Very simple directions in the booklet.
For this low price, I should really buy two. All my other watches were 4 times this price.

The watch overall is definately a nice looking piece. Jeweler had a hard time removing the pins from the links; The pins seemed somewhat cheap. Watch design overall is quite attractive and the digital features do come in handy at work. However even with calibrating the thermometer within a degree it tends to be inaccurate. Would have been nice if the thermometer piece of the watch had been somehow insulated from your body heat. Also the clocks hands tend to block the digital displays, but it doesnt really bother that much. So if your looking for a rather nice looking inexpensive watch with a thermometer, go for it. If not by one of the cheaper atomic watches. I would have if I had to do it again, but none the less Im happy with my purchase.

I ordered this witch on your site on your site using FREE with Super Saver
Shipping, the shipping was speedy was speedy, it arrived in just two (2) days time.
Judging from reviews read before purchasing I find it is a bit heavy and thicker
than I expected.

The watch looks pretty decent however, as alluded to by another reviewer the black face does make kind of difficult to see the time and as stated by another the hands can block the digital display sometimes.
